I really wish I could talk about how I did it. But I can tell you that I spent two weeks thinking about how I would do this and in the end I was almost giving up, so I slept and woke up in the morning with the solution. I was already in the warehouse at 8 am and applied the idea to a test piece and it worked.

Here are some more photos from my archives. These are photos of some parts of the landing gear. obs. There is an error in the folded plate that holds the fabric on the landing gear leg, but it is already being corrected.

more pieces coming out of the oven. We have the stick complete and installed in the structure. We also have the bellcrank almost ready, all that remains is to use the reamer to correct the internal holes. Also check out my YouTube channel AERO MACEIO.Just remember that these screws on the parts are not aeronautical. When aircraft are permanently assembled, these screws will be discarded.

I'm finishing making the j-3's lower door, I confess that this is one of the most difficult parts to build. lots of small details.
