Broke my dang skylight

JP is happy to report that he spent the better part of the day in the air, skimming the lakes at 5 feet in an L-19 Bird Dog...

Including Pemadumcook. The lake looks great for ski ops. Should be good wx tomorrow.

We shot the whole thing for the DVD, including a trip down Ripogeneous Gorge and a visit to Chesuncook Village. Good fun.

We'll see if I can escape and make it up again tomorrow.

I am going to try to fly up tomorrow. If i can will take the 185 cause of the distance.Where abouts is beech hill? If i cant make it i will try to go next weekend. Is it east of millers field? and how far form Millers? Is that where the dunns live? I dont know them well, dont they have a bunch of planes< i think i have met one or two of them at greenville.

Sure sounds like a good way to spend a Maine Saturday afternoon! count me in! Ive got to work till Noon but it is just a short flight from KLRG so I hope to see you all there. Scouter, were there still a lot of drifts or did you find a smooth area? also should we use 123.45 for a "company" channel if there are any hazards or landing zone concerns? Planecrazy.

Pzinck: Hope to see you there on Pemadumcook on Saturday afternoon! Beech Hill Pond (Dunn Regional Seaplane Base and Ice park) is on map 24 of the Delorme Atlas and Gazeteer,or Halifax sectional N044-36 W068-28. for next weekend. Planecrazy.

Pzinck; check the new thread " Maine Super Saturday Ski plane spectacular"has all the info for this weekend.. Greg.

Greg:

The lake is fairly smooth next to the shore by moose cove and moose island. i was up there yesterday checking it out. I went into White house for a cup of coffee, its pretty rough out in the middle, the drifts are really hard.
