Breaks-9S7 Flyin 2021 Edition

Thanks for posting the pictures and videos. I wished I could have made it this year but it came during the middle of our haying season.

I was going to post some photos, but for crying out loud mine pale in comparison to Eric’s photos!
Thanks for putting these up! It was a really good time in Winifred, enjoyed by not only those of us who flew in, but also by those who brought their families over to see the airplanes.

Here is a family with four little boys, all under the age of 2.5…

Many thanks to Ralph Rogers for organizing this event, to Lou Furlong for being Ralph’s right hand man, to Mike Vivion and the MT Pilots Assn for the BBQ dinner and the Fine People of Winifred, Montana. You made us feel right at home, and we appreciate you all very, very much!

Randy,

Is this some of your handiwork? ;)

Were you in PKD yesterday? Looked like your SC. I was there working on my plane on the east side of the FBO. Respitory issues have me grounded for a bit. Would have loved to have gone to the fly in.

What’s Lou buying, some dishwashing soap to put in the fajitas? [emoji41]

Eaton....I thought about it but you never showed up! You need to get your sorry ass out West with the big kids....like old times! We miss you.

For all the folks who attended the annual Missouri Breaks Fly In this year, thanks for attending, and enjoying some of this fascinating and beautiful part of the world with us!

As always, Ralph did a great job getting things organized, and Frank prepared a very nice brisket supper on Friday evening.....for 66 attendees! The Hangarburgers on Saturday evening were just as tasty, also prepared by Frank.

The Lewistown Fly In was not as heavily attended in past, but the date change and breezy weather may have discouraged many. For those of you who made it there for the pancake breakfast, Thanks for supporting the Montana Pilots Association's Central Hangar, the host for that event.

This is the first year that the Montana Pilots Association (https://www.montanapilots.org/) co-sponsored the Missouri Breaks Fly In, and I considered it to be a great success! Take a look at the MPA web site, and on our home page, you'll see a picture of my old Cessna 170 parked at Cow Creek on a beautiful summer evening, many years ago. The Breaks are dear to my heart, and it's great to see so many others from all over this great country visit this special place.

For those of you who missed the event this year, please put next year's event on your calendars, and plan to attend. Same place, probably same dates. Ralph and I are both raring to do this again!

And, Eaton, if you don't show up, we WILL talk about you!

Thanks to all for the work involved putting this on. The breakfast burritos up on the plateau and homemade icecream at hangar a nice touch.

Mike, when I go to the MPA home page I still see a picture of my Cub on skis at Meadow Creek?

Dan,

Youre looking at the home page on the “mobile” version. As you scroll down, you’ll see a menu pop up. There should be a “Desktop” icon there. Click that and you’ll see the desktop version.

I need to change that….except I’m still really partial to your picture and beautiful airplane.
