Saturday there are quite a few fly outs to various ranches and grass strips where lunch will be served. There will be a sign up sheet for this. Saturday afternoon will be a STOL demonstration which has been a highlight event in the past.

Is Clint going to have his new build done so we can ogle it? Sounds like a great time, badlands one way and black hills another!

The airport sponsor, city of Hot Springs has agreed to lower the fuel price from $5..85 to $5.70 for the flyin. This is a good will gesture to show their appreciation for all the attendees.

I’ll have my flying version there, you should come take it around the patch.
the latest version will be at my shop, hopefully put together (but not completely covered) and anyone is welcome to fly or drive over to the shop to look at.

Bumping the thread: Thanks Clint and Larry for organizing this: Planning to roll in ~ mid day Thursday, 9.07.23, camp on the field if that's still OK. Might be another hangar neighbour or two also.

Thanks. cubscout

Jon and Ray are cooking burgers for noon arrivals and camping is welcome. There will be a shower setup this year also.

dont be timid about posting pictures, I want to see the shower and all the places you fly to and your food gatherings. Wish I could of went, next year for sure.

dryfarmer, you keep saying, "Just one more harvest". Yup, a true dryland farmer if I've ever met one

Thanks. cubscout

Some of us have to work, and my boss is a real hard case (self employed, as I am), I wouldn't work near as hard for anyone else, but work buys the toys! I too want to see pictures, of the Traveler.

After one failed attempt to post several pictures, I’ll give it another go. Great fly-out to the SD27 ice cream social. Moderate temps and wind right down the runway with over 30 aircraft in attendance.
