Belly Pod pa-12 field approval

If you look above I have Stewart’s -12 now and have a complete package with Field Approval 337, installation instructions, weight and balance modifications with loading arms, continued maintance compliance and flight manual supplement. There have been quite a few that used this information as previously approved data for Field Approval applications.
Howdy......... I am trying to help a buddy get approval for his 12 with a pod. Can you send me your above FA approval stuff for 7779H? thanks a bunch......... Mark

Hi, not sure if I sent this or not (lot of requests). Let me know your email address and I'll get everything over to you. Alternatively you can kick an email over my way, grant.general@gmail.com. Thanks!

Documents from my Pod installation
No block 3 entry, it isn't a field approval and the data cited is not approved data for the airplane. If it cited an STC with no exceptions it would be approved data but since there are exceptions, those exceptions need to be approved either with a DER 8110-3 or a block 3 field approval from an ASI or a DAR.

This is what was submitted, I have not bothered to go back to review what was provided back from the FAA. Would have been sent to my IA, so I'm following up on the stamped version.

If your IA was looking for a Field Approval then he shouldn't have signed it yet. If he submitted it to the Registration branch he will never get anything back and you will only find out you have a problem if FAA does a records review of the airplane (like after an accident or part of a ramp check.

The FSDO was at the hangar during and after the change and they know Im flying with it, and we were both in contact with the FAA throughout the process, this is how I know it's been approved. I just need to grab the stamped one for those looking to leverage in their own installs.

Howdy. I would be interested in the stamped/signed one also. I am working on the project for the fella 58rn (Dell) that you have been chatting with. He sent me the stuff you sent to him.................. but like the folks above mentioned I really need the stamped/signed 337. If you can get me a copy that would be great.......... thanks a bunch. I am also looking at other installations in a PA12 trying to get their approval paperwork....... take care Mark

I have the 337 and the (then) required flight manual supplement in pdf on my computer. PM me an email address and I’ll be happy to share them. Same for guys interested in a AK Bush Pod on a 180. I have that 337, too. No flight manual was required for the Cessna.
Sir,
I would love a copy of your 337 for my PA-12. dean.castillo18@gmail.com SEVEN FIVE SEVEN 5751516. Thanks!

Hi folks........ I was chatting on this thread last winter trying to help a friend get this approval on his -12 with a belly pod. It was a project I was working on but then spring and summer hit...... and other projects....... and so I never did finish this one. I am still interested in helping him out and getting it done. I will re-engage with the issue and see where we were at. Stand by. I might have some more questions and request for advice.... .thanks....... Mark
