Assembly instructions for a PA-18

Is there somewhere that I can find a manual or something telling me how to assemble a PA-18? I have a basket case to assemble, and I am not the one who did the teardown, and don't want to do things in the wrong sequence.

Piper has one but heck if you or I will ever see it. Clyde Smith Jr. either wrote it or helped to write it. I mentioned it to the guys over there but nothing yet. Run an ad in your local paper to find somebody who knows aviation and the supercub, you never know what talent lives in your neighborhood. The parts manual helps alot for reference and there's the military manual that alot of the cub owners use. I personally have never seen one.

If you buy the North Land CD you'll get the PA-18 drawings, the parts catalog and the erection manual in PDF format.

I bought it and it has been very valuable. Some drawings are missing, e.g. firewall forward details for the C90 and exterior paint schemes but besides that it's well worth the money.

assembly

the cub club has about the best prints, and they have two of them that cover 75% of the plane, id have to look up the print Numbers, you can take these prints and tack them up on the wall, very handy, also very detailed. steve, has never one time, give i am a god feeling because he new more about them than i did or ever makes you feel foolish for asking questions when you dont really know or arent for sure on what your asking. THATS WHERE I WOULD START. beware and shop around if your new at this.
