Are PA12 lift struts the same length as PA18?

Measuring overall length--from the wing attach point bolt hole to the fuselage end (without fork of course)--I am wondering if the length of front and rear lift struts of a 12 are the same as the 18? I know the control cable setup and jury strut setup is different, so let's not go there please. Thanks.

The 12 strut is bout 1/2 in shorter . I put a rear 12 strut on an ex 18 that kinked on.the forks are plenty long

No!! The -18 ones are longer, and the top bolt angles are different. As Airframes AK proved when they made me a wrong set in 2011? They fixed their jig so that's not possible any more.

Gentlemen, thanks so much. You've just saved me from making yet another mistake. I searched for hours to try to find this info and, once again, the knowledge base here provided the answer I needed in minutes. Thanks again.

That top bolt jig is critical. Even a few degrees off and you will damage things if you pin the bottom and try to drive a bolt into the wing fitting.
