Situation normal, I am slightly confused
Was the question about slow flight, or feel?
I was able to take the opportunity to fly a center winged 12, fresh from rebuild, no vg's. Thing stalled like a single otter on wheels, climbed steep, broke hard to an inverted nose down or one wing way down. From a recovery standpoint, you better catch it before it stalled.
On approach stall, was a bit better, but it still liked to bring the nose below horizon very quickly.
Of course it took some doing to get the thing to stall, so yes, a pilot would need to have their attention diverted beyond belief. The cuff gives you some lift!
My friend has flown one lots. It was "ill mannered" and uncomfortable on approach. VG's were installed, and it "flies like a stock wing, but slower" now. His description, (trustworthy pilot). Say's it will fly at 27 mph.
(nothing was done under test standards, so therefore just an amature opinion)
