A number of members from all over the country attended Randy’s induction into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame last evening. It is a well deserved addition to the list of amazing people who have impacted and continue to impact aviation in Minnesota and beyond.

Mark Baker, past AOPA president also a member here was also inducted last evening. His work on basicmed and Randy’s evangelism of it have changed aviation for so many.

Thanks again, Randy and Mark for all you have done for so many of us.

Congratulations Randy and Mark! So happy to see you honored in this way. Well deserved! Hope you know how much we all appreciate you both!

Well done, and thank you for continuing your efforts for the aviation community!

Glad there was representation of SC.org to represent our appreciation.

What a wonderful evening honoring many individuals who have left an indelible mark on Minnesota Aviation. Randy had amazing company in the other inductees and was overwhelmingly represented in the 400+ attendees.

Well-earned my friend, Congratulations!

Dr. Randy has accomplished much in Aviation. To see him honored amongst inductees that were astronauts and distinguished aviators was proof of what Randy has done for those of us in Aviation.
I must point out that the man with a heart of gold had a practice that brought 13,000 children into this world. That was not inclusive of practices he assisted as well as his time at Yale and Mayo Clinic. His number is closer to 30,000 children.
When his time comes far in the future St. Peter will have him in the express lane with the gates wide open.

The dinner was quite nice. Coat and tie affair with the ladies in dresses. Nice to see a little class.

It was a large event.

Dr Randy was, and is, well deserving of the recognition. He has helped a lot of folks and made the world a better place. I am proud, and honored to call him a friend.

It somehow seems fitting that the accolades for such a great friend, mentor, and inspiration for so many of us is done here on Supercub.org. It was such a great bunch of folks all put together by Steve and Laura. So many top shelf folks gathering to honor one of our own.
While it was inspiring to hear the lives and history of the other inductees, from Mark Baker who we all owe a debt, to astronauts and blue angel pilots to pioneering north woods aviators, for me it was seeing the Randy’s slides of so many moms and babies that made the hair on my neck stand up. The farm boy from Kansas praireland sure has made the world a better place than he found it. Thanks to you and Julie for including Brenda and I. Well done my friend

Many thanks for these kind words, friends! Bill, thanks for putting up those photos! I'll put up some more when I can! I am humbled by those words and for those who could make it to celebrate with Julie and me.

The Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame kindly prepared videos for each of the seven inductees, and I have uploaded mine onto Youtube. Here is the link.

Kirby was kind enough to video my comments, and we will upload it to Youtube when we see it. "Surround yourself with people who are smarter and brighter than you!" ...and I've done just that, thanks to each of you. Many have influenced my life, but no other group has done so as significantly as those who I have met here on Supercub.org.

Thank you.

Randy
