Folks, we are less than two weeks away from the 9th Annual Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering, to be held Friday and Saturday, May 19, 20, at the Buffalo Municipal Airport (KCFE). We have assembled a terrific series of speakers and topics and hope that you will consider attending the flagship event of the Minnesota Pilots Association!
Sarah Dickerson has struck gold once again with an outstanding logo for this year's event! This logo will grace the back of our annual tee shirts and is based on the outstanding photography of Leonardo Correa Luna's photograph of a beautifully restored Stearman.
Please take a moment to visit our website www.mnpilots.org/gmag and take a look at our Hangar Flying schedule of events! We are very pleased that Mark Cook and Charles Scott are once again providing a complimentary seaplane ground school course on Friday morning, May 19, and will be able to sign off attendees logbook for that course. Mark recently became a designated pilot examiner for seaplanes, and these two are great instructors.
No aviation gathering would be complete without some Supercub.org influence! To that end Bill Rusk will be speaking about "Flying Floats to Alaska and Forest Service Cabins", and I will be speaking about "Shooting An Approach to Your Aviation Medical Certificate".
Admission fees of $10 per day are waived for members of the MN Pilots Assn.
I will try to post bios here for our speakers, but life is a bit crazy at the moment for me. All members of the MN Pilots Assn receive emails with those bios and photos of speakers on a daily basis from now to showtime!
I hope to see you there!
Randy
