#2 Intake Cold -- EGT above #3

Now that the ambients are down around 20F, my #2 cylinder EGT is about 20F above #3 at 2350 rpm when in higher ambients it was 20F below #3. If I speed up to 2450 rpm, #2, 3 &4 are all about the same at 1350F. The CHT relationship is unchanged - #2 being about 25F below #3 at high or low ambients. I have checked for intake leaks and I did find some fuel stain at the rubber boots but then tightened the clamps with no change in temperature relationships. But I think the change might be a result of the #2 intake tube being too cold causing fuel to re-liquify and leading to a lean mixture. There is quite a bit of cold air spilling into the lower cowling and the oil temp yesterday was only 160F.
I have a friend with a Mooney and he says #2 is usually the cylinder to experience valve sticking because it often runs too cold.
Any experience along these lines with #2?

Darrel, I don't think it can be that cold in the lower cowling. Maybe get some kind of a remote temp. probe under there and a gauge in the cockpit. I have 55 hours on a new engine (0320) and my #3 cht. is the hottest by 20 deg. no matter what the outside temp. is.
