Cub Crafters/BLR VGs, CC baggage door, Atlee Dodge folding front seat, extended baggage and Heavy Duty muffler (No AD). Trig TY91 Com, TT22 transponder with TN70 ADS-B. Set up for mini iPad or install a Garmin 760 in the middle of the panel. Oregon Aero leather seats. Dakota Cub fuel selector, gascolator and jackscrew/yoke trim assembly. Fit and finish are second to none. The perfect panel if you’re going to have an electric system and creature comforts. It may also have the most honest pedigree of any super cub still out there…..mainly because monkeys like me and everyone else on this site weren’t able to put our big tires and long props on it!

Sad to see it go, especially after 25 years of adventures. But it was time for a younger generation to enjoy it. Now after spending 60 years looking down on the earth I find myself a groundling looking up at the sky. :-(

I could write a book about all the experiences I had flying, beginning in October of 1962 in Fort Worth. All the airplanes--Luscombes, J-3's, PA-12, Cessna 170, M Bonanza, V-35 Bonanza, and then back to my roots in the Super Cub. How I lived through the many mishaps, stupid errors (poor judgement), and just pushing the margins I'll never know. But it was fun! Someday I may write if the statute of limitations has expired for my misadventures.

Well, she has been stabled and well fed. Since picking her up we have put 14 hours on her while supporting 4 generations of our family. What a beautiful and well maintained aircraft. Thank you Joe !!!! She will be cared for, I promise!!!!
