0-320 Crankshaft part number

Will any 0-320 crankshaft fit in any 0-320? I'm selling one for a buddy on ebay and have received a couple questions about the compatablity with certain 0-320 engines (0-320-E2D). I've had several people ask about the part number. I can't find a part number on the crank and the yellow tag simply states 0-320 crankshaft. The SN is :S176133-1.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have two 0-320s and there is a very noticeable difference in the prop flanges between them. Whether they're interchangeable or not is beyond me. Whether one is advantageous or disadvantageous is also beyond me.

The original O-320 was an O-320 dash nothing. Lycoming only added the -A1A after they started coming out with variations. Technically the yellow tag in saying "O-320" means just this. The part no. should be visible really.

I'll take a closer look at ther crank today to see if there is a number or letter stamped on it. I believe it's hollow with caps/plugs (?) on the ends. I'll check that too. Thanks for the responses.

I'd check the part number and parts manual. if you can't tell from them call Lycoming with all the information you have.
