Southern, is this what you mean about taking more energy than you get back. Ethanol is 76,000 btu's per gallon of about 114 octane. Remember corn oil and distiller's grain are co-products. I bet when you were distilling, you'd be lucky to get 2 gallons per bushel. SiouxlandMarch19.png
