    Looks like a great Minnesota spring fishing day Eric. Thanks for posting.

    Most rivers in Montana don’t open until the third Saturday of May. But some Idaho rivers are open year round. My buddy Larry and I met in Idaho and had some nice cutthroat fishing. I started with a new Sage Dart rod that Larry made from a blank. These Cutties are sporty on a #2 weight rod. And they were hitting dries like it was July.

    Early season before close for spawning in western Alaska. Not for the faint of heart the ice was still floating by.
