Nice! I like the fold down aft baggage separation panel. Had to keep hitting pause to 'see' stuff. What is the light above the fuel selector?

Looks good, I am about at the same stage with my Javron build. Quick question, how did you attach the upper baggage door hinge? Mine does not have enough room to drill holes for the screws without drilling into the tubing?

    Thanks,

Was that a Ray Allen POS 12 indicator to send flap position into the Dynon?

I have the electric elevator trim and they left out the fairleads to install manual indicator cable. So I was thinking that Ray Allen but it's throw is too short for the jackscrew. I would have to fabricate an adapter that reduced the movement.

    Thanks,
If you drill through the channel, you will find .25" clearance between the channel and the tubing. I installed 8 #4 1/4" sheet metal screws to attach the botton hinge. Final install will get a dab of Loctite.Click image for larger version.

The Ray Allen POS-12 is attached to the flap torque tube and allows flap position to be displayed on the EFIS. More importantly it tells the AOA system the actual flap position. I have used the POS-12 for several other applications on RV's and they can be installed pretty much anywhere with a little imagination. A local hobby shop should have what you need to fabricate the install using clevis's and threaded rod.

Ah thanks.. never thought about the AOA system being more accurate with the flap position input (makes sense of course)..so I need two POS 12's

Around 600 hours. Flight controls covered, fuselage & wings this month. Using Oratex 6000, so far so good. Engine all set to be hung once fuselage covered.

Baggage doors a little flimsy, fabricating inner "skins" really stiffens them up.Click image for larger version.

Thanks KJC. I fit the stabilizer this morning and I will need to trim the lower flange of the inspection cover support about 1/4" to achieve full nose up trim. Good Catch!

Final assembly will be at OXC, then will go to my hanger in North Creek, NY. I get in and out of Candelight Farm on a regular basis, just a couple of miles from home.

Bought a set online that were the same as Classic Aero used in my RV-7 seats. They come with harness, switches and relays. I mounted the relays behind the vertical support. Each seat protected by a 5a breaker. I think a set of 4 (2seats) was around $60. Don't buy the real cheap ones. E-Z replacement if an element goes bad.

$60 for both seats? WOW! That's cheap.
My son bought me a couple of sets of these from fly boy accessories. Recommended on the Vansairforce site. $90/set and waterproof. Haven't had a chance to install them yet.

I purchased a late model set of EDO 2000's (mfg. 1992) from Kris Wells, Barron, WI. Jake and Cassie got the mission, and they fit nicely on the Tahoe.
BTW: Kris has a nice selection of floats, skis, and LOTS of Cub parts. Great guy to work with!

Glass, and interior complete. Firewall fwd complete, waiting on paint for cowlings/boot cowl. One of my new 31" ABW was a "leaker", they replaced it after they made me drill a hole in the sidewall as proof.

Re: "leaker". I had a new 26" ABW tire leak at the valve stem. Can happen if whatever interior liner they use fails to cover properly. All taken care of under their 5 year warranty. Apparently no easy way to test them prior to delivery.

They have a leak check tank but sometimes they must not leak when tested. I had one that I could not get to quit leaking using Stan's. Covered under warranty except my time.

ABW forbids much air pressure until mounted in a rim. For good reason as the web connecting the sidewalls may be compromised via abnormal stretch. I suggested they fabricate a clamping device (two rims and ?) to allow max air pressure before shipment. Not sure what they do now. And yes, time is a free commodity to some.

Pics of bubbled flex seal over the valve stem informed the leak.
