Looks good, I am about at the same stage with my Javron build. Quick question, how did you attach the upper baggage door hinge? Mine does not have enough room to drill holes for the screws without drilling into the tubing?

Was that a Ray Allen POS 12 indicator to send flap position into the Dynon?

I have the electric elevator trim and they left out the fairleads to install manual indicator cable. So I was thinking that Ray Allen but it's throw is too short for the jackscrew. I would have to fabricate an adapter that reduced the movement.

If you drill through the channel, you will find .25" clearance between the channel and the tubing. I installed 8 #4 1/4" sheet metal screws to attach the botton hinge. Final install will get a dab of Loctite.

The Ray Allen POS-12 is attached to the flap torque tube and allows flap position to be displayed on the EFIS. More importantly it tells the AOA system the actual flap position. I have used the POS-12 for several other applications on RV's and they can be installed pretty much anywhere with a little imagination. A local hobby shop should have what you need to fabricate the install using clevis's and threaded rod.

Around 600 hours. Flight controls covered, fuselage & wings this month. Using Oratex 6000, so far so good. Engine all set to be hung once fuselage covered.

We were able to cover the fuselage in a long weekend using Oratex 6000. Sheets were just wide enough to be able to coveqr left and right sides overlapping top and bottom.

I think you might have a problem with your trim yoke inspection ring.

Thanks KJC. I fit the stabilizer this morning and I will need to trim the lower flange of the inspection cover support about 1/4" to achieve full nose up trim. Good Catch!

Bought a set online that were the same as Classic Aero used in my RV-7 seats. They come with harness, switches and relays. I mounted the relays behind the vertical support. Each seat protected by a 5a breaker. I think a set of 4 (2seats) was around $60. Don't buy the real cheap ones. E-Z replacement if an element goes bad.

$60 for both seats? WOW! That's cheap.
My son bought me a couple of sets of these from fly boy accessories. Recommended on the Vansairforce site. $90/set and waterproof. Haven't had a chance to install them yet.

I can answer the second part... look two posts above yours, shows where he got the vents.

Cowling is Javron, however I am using a Carbon fiber top cowling from Carbon Concepts. Great fit, no trimming required.
