My left fuel gauge does not bounce in flight. My right bounces all over.
Why?

Which one do you like better?
Possible explanations:
1. There is excessive flow restriction in the left sight gauge or its feed tubes
2. There is unsufficient flow restriction in the right sight gauge or its feed tubes
I deleted a couple of options that might have indicated a warped sense of humor.
There's usually a cork gasket in the top and bottom of the factory gauge. They can offer restriction to flow and dampen the bouncing. Bigger hole = more bounce. Unless one of the balls is larger...then all bets are off![]()
