I have not used that one, but there are lots of options. You can get a Wi-Fi camera that will show you the temperature also.

We use Wi-Fi thermostats with additional temp sensors to keep track of things when we are gone.

in the house, ive seen many houses where the pipes froze, even basements full of water.

I use a la crosse weather station w a few sensors. I like to know temp/humdity inside/outside/ and various rooms.

We set up a few motion sensors with temp/light functions. Tied into a smarthome hub. Accessible anywhere via internet. Will also notify if something triggers an alert like motion, temperature etc.
