Great job. Weather is usually best June until 15 July after that it is hit and miss. This Summer it was total crap with rain/wind both July and August. One trick is to make 4 different flight plans Wrangles, Brooks Range, Nome and South East. All have great flying and adventures!! Just chase the weather. If possible leave the plane for a few weeks and come back for the flight home to break it up. Last year the radio guy at Watson was not nice to anyone even locals. They had gas/bathroom/and snacks so I was fine. It is a great adventure well worth the trip.
