Had a 67 skidoo. A 10 mile ride was a good day on that thing. Worked on it all week to get it ready for the next weekend. Always carried plenty of tools on each ride. Would also bring my two young sons on most rides.

Fred is all ready for us at South Lake for 1pm Saturday. Looks like we are supposed to get about 4" tonight and quit around 9am. Only lite snow so still may try saphouse around 9am

Hey, Glenn
With the expected snowfall tonight, I'm guessing South lake will be skis only.
I can't get off home base with my wheel replacement skis, so the PA-11 will be on 800x4 wheels.
Yes, SKIS ONLY. Already 10" before it started snow today

No go today for most of us, doing it again on Sunday at South lake.
Plan is Gavin's farm strip for breakfast then up to South lake for lunch

I beg off today as well so what time at Gavin’s and what time for lunch at South Lake. Lunch earlier than 1:00 I hope. Long ride for me.

Good catch, I think I have that part you can use and replace as able. Problem is I'm away until tomorrow.

Back in September 2021 I posted pictures of 19 yo Teddy who bought a C90-8 Pa11 on Baumman 1500 floats. Well Teddy got his ticket last Wednesday and he took the check ride in his own Pa11 on skis.
Great job Teddy

Electrically fail?
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a well preserved body but rather to slide in sideways, well used up proclaiming "WOW What a Ride"

The ski is the same/similar, but the actuator is different and also placed differently when mounting. I would expect the actuator to be different because yours is for a lighter gross weight. I wonder how much of the mounting difference is driven by the actuator and how much is driven by an interest in making the mount stronger. I think I can mount mine like yours, but it will take a little bit of thought/modification.
Are those big brakes and are they fitting with the skis in the "up" position?
...and while I have you on the phone, how is the snow holding up up north? I'm wondering if it is time to pull my skis...
