Was -25F in Speculator this morning, 2 tough sombitches flew to breakfast, Vt Glenn and CC Pete.

Flew a bunch in the Adirondacks this weekend. But today was a great day. One of my local dairy farmers who had been sick for a few months had a grand day today. His son asked me almost a year ago if I could get his dad up someday. He was busy, I was busy or the weather sucked everytime we tried then he got ill. Today was a 10, 40f+ no wind and blue sky.
Was a great flight for both of us
Found a really slow -11 to follow this weekend.

Twitchel lake flyin is this weekend, most likely noon onSunday. Right now lots of ice and about 6" of snow so as of now skis only. That might change but skis only right now. Rain and warm in forecast next 2 days then single digits Friday night

Does the "anchorage" happen to be on the SE shore of the lake?

THAT ...... was a fun day! Thanks to everyone involved. No toilet paper today because it would have to have been released 1.5 miles upwind and you can't see white paper against an overcast very well from the ground.
Would have been there and sorry to miss it, but my daughter took precedent over flying this weekend. Next time.

Airborne at 6 am this morning to play in the fresh powder, supposed to be 40 degrees here all next week. 2 feet deep with a little crust in the middle, plane sits up on top pretty good. Probably the best conditions we’re going to get here in Maine this winter.
