Have not heard a peep out of the JC fly in! I hope everything went great and would love to see some photos!

Likely they ended up not going, or triple tying down the planes due to high winds

I will report as the only Tripacer there, and being officially the oldest pilot by years but not looking, that the weekend went well. The winds were light on the ground and modest aloft so there was plenty of local flying. A little scuddy Sunday morning, but everyone who wanted to get out did get out. I took two pictures, here they are.

We got there Fri evening just in time for dinner and left Sunday AM.
Flew over to Big Creek for breakfast Sat Am.
Very nearly didn't go because of all the weather predictions of thunderstorms all weekend and rain but in the end it was beautiful weather! Got bumped around a bit on the way there on Fri going on the north/downwind side of the Wallowa Mts near Joseph but the rest of the weekend the air was pretty nice for flying. Sat afternoon if got a little breezy but a good time to go for a hike. We did the hot tub hike, in all the times I've been there I've never gone on that hike. Pretty cool!

I wish I could have made it. I got home Friday night from two weeks in AL and moved into a new home that night. It’s been a busy few days. I’m spending next week at Morgan Ranch near Sulfur Creek. Any words from people who’ve been there? It’ll be my first stay there.
