I’m going to have to start scheduling “fly with Tom” time in the 2 weeks between Texas and float season, and then the 2 weeks between the WAD and Texas. Either that or hide the floats.

Got back from Maine yesterday as the sun got a bit lower, and thought I’d visit a couple friends on the other side of the river.
Jake Mahoney is one of the newer generation pilots, addicted to the cub life, flying his J3 on floats and skis, and wheels only when he has too.
He just picked up his Javron kit, so in short order will have another monster flying the region.
As I got over there he was just coming out the play, and we had a beautiful ride around the lake.
