Nice! Must be hot in the NE. Watch out for leeches. I still got 2' of snow in a backyard pile chilling beverages. Local float pond finally melted yesterday.

2nd Annual "Spur of the Moment Fly In"
May 21 22.jpgGreat group heading to the Northeast STOL Contest at 83N short stopped at the farm and made a night of it. Hmm Judy, maybe we should mow a little more grass next year just in case.

You know what would sell bearhawks in New England? Anfibs. And you can use them in Tx unlike skis

[emoji23][emoji23] You’re not wrong.
I, on the other hand, am usually wrong. My wife says so. She also makes sure there’s never enough left for floats.

Sounds like you need a wife that says you know what, I think we need anfib floats. Yes dear we do. It’s all John’s fault. He let me take her for a ride in daisy on floats.

We are doing a memorial BBQ for our buddy Stu on the island tomorrow. Jake bought Stu's old Cub and took Stu's wife Betsy for a Hudson river run this evening. Good job Jake

Little breezy today but Zach and I delivered his Grandma back to the family farm. We could almost hover if it wasn't so trashy

Got back from Maine yesterday as the sun got a bit lower, and thought I’d visit a couple friends on the other side of the river.

Jake Mahoney is one of the newer generation pilots, addicted to the cub life, flying his J3 on floats and skis, and wheels only when he has too.
He just picked up his Javron kit, so in short order will have another monster flying the region.

As I got over there he was just coming out the play, and we had a beautiful ride around the lake.
