Belly pod vent

Building an experimental cub and plan to put a belly fuel pod on. Just finished covering the fuselage and tail surfaces and was pondering on the belly pod and how it’s vented. Is it just a vented cap? At this point I can still install a vent line up into the wing if required.

Thanks for any enlightenment you can pass on.

I have the Airglass LT32 fuel pod and it is only vented through the cap.

Just thought I would throw this out there. This vent allows you to fuel without the fuel burping back on you from the filler neck. Also allows the air out so you can put more fuel in. Guys that have a belly tank probably know what I mean about the fuel burping.

Belly pod vents are a good idea, really helped for when I hauled my kids in there.

Reminds me of a time when I stuffed my son inside a belly pod to do some fiberglass repairs. Hope the statute of limitations is up on that.
