Looking for-Float and off airport tailwheel training/course

My wife’s working on her Canadian private license. She wants a float rating and some time in a tailwheel. I can give her her float rating, and some instruction in a tailwheel. But to save some yelling, maybe abuse on my planes (don’t tell her I said that) I abuse them enough, and to avoid my bad habits, maybe learn something new and have a fun vacation….. I’d like her to find a place she can do both. Preferably Canada, BC,Yukon,NWT. Or maybe Alaska.

any recommendations on places would be appreciated.

I will also recommend Blue River Aviation in Palmer Alaska, I flew 20 hours with them before I bought my Cub. I have flown with Alaska Floats and Skis too, but Blue River has big tire Cubs and a high HP Cub on Aerocets, Alaska Floats and Skis uses Pacers. Both are great outfits, I personally got more bang for my buck from BRA. The training I received from BRA, prepared me for off airport Cub flying.

The only issue with doing your training in a high HP cub on floats is... you will be ruined for life in anything but a high HP cub LOL. Training in lesser aircraft where you have to use technique and learn to fly the wing will serve one better and be more diverse training. I know, you can do partial power take offs etc in the cub, but its still a far cry from learning to actually fly lesser powered AC.
