I’ll be there with my son. Looking forward to catching up with folks. Speaking of catching up, I’m in indoc / ground school this week - will be flying for an outfit that serves a lot of the lodges in King Salmon, and will be flying with good guys I’ve worked with earlier. It’s great being back.

Wish I was going to be out there this summer. Really bummed I am not headed that way. What you flying?
I am expecting about zero chance of getting up to Anchorage. But maybe someone can have fun for me?

Flying the C130 in on friday and hanging out all weekend, if anyone from lower 48 wants to come up I can send a few buddy passes on Alaska Airlines (travel has been rough and the operation has been bad recently, so no promises this works) also have a free garage apartment to stay in Eagle River and spare shitty car but it will get you to/from Palmer Airport, weather is looking good for the weekend.

Folks, the weather here has been the best I have ever seen for the show. The new (new to me at least) venue of the Fairgrounds is mostly good! Great seeing folks we have not seen for a few years, and checking out the new stuff. We will be back in the morning! (Today, we snuck out at noon and went to Talkeetna as the weather demanded it!).
