Hello -
I am wondering how to go about getting paperwork to replace a PA-11 engine with an 0-200 engine. Any input would be greatly appreciated. My email is piperpa-11@att.net. My cell phone is 530-624-0072.
Thank You,
Sam P.

Hello Sam,
Another member here is on the same quest, (member "name" is "kr_cub") and since I already have a legally installed 0-200 in my 11 since around 1985, I tried to help him find data. Turns out, the actual STC copy was not preserved in my logs, only the # and the log-book sign-off. It seems that it is presently an Atlee-Dodge STC, but they seem to have purchased it from someone else years back. I am in the process of trying to get the names and contact numbers from them for records of that age. Maybe if you call Atlee and quiz them about the STC for the 0-200 on an 11, you will get further than I.

See Page 5 PA-11 Engine change 337's. Also a search here of "PA-11 O-200" will note an older multiple STC that may not be available, plus a few one time STC's or approvals.
Edit: Search engine doesn't work for the terms noted. So went direct to Google:

Gary, STC SA1765GL is only for the engine mount. It specifically says to install a C90 one O-200 you need additional FAA approval.

Jerry Burr's SA573NW J-3 to PA-11 conversion with an O-200 might help as well. If you end up with a PA-11 equivalent that has an O-200 what's the difference?
