I bet if you set the skis up with less wheel penetration and laid a strip in with several touch and go passes it would have worked. Letting a strip set for overnight and freeze really helps. But overall a great adventure. DENNY
What an incredible area and those gyrocopters are pretty neat too. The only downside is a lack of rudder it looks like. With a plane you could just do laps but it doesn't look like a gyro can turn around very well on the ground.
I would love to fly those mountains. The Alps are just incredible looking. It's a real shame the landing areas are so limited by regulation there.
