    Last September a couple of friends went out on the barren-lands northeast of Yellowknife, one with a Maule on 31's and the other with a PA-11 on floats. They got a muskox, which apparently has turned out to be a world record.

    Yes. The meat can be excellent or tough as nails, like any wild game. The meat that I've had has been very good, with the fat "marbled" in the meat, unlike tasty but lean caribou meat.
