    Crank Case Breather wicking

    so here’s an odd deal….my breather hose is wicking oil seemingly out the pores of the hose itself. This happens while it sits idle in my heated hangar….I wipe it off, come back the next day, and the oil is beaded up along the entire lengths of the hose. It happens just sitting idle.

    Did you use automotive water heater hose for your breather? I did, and mine does the same.

    Use a fuel grade hose on the breather line. Automotive heater hose will sweat oil through the surface.

    Yes, I have seen that on automotive hose, I replaced with Mil6000 and no more issues
