Merry Christmas, folks, I want to report that the 13th Annual Santa's Flyin was a success! It was the first year Julie and I were able to host the event in our hangar (heated, to the delight of all who attended!). We were greatly helped by Brenda and Jim Crane, who made the trek from Florida to Minnesota on their way home to Maine! Jim was kind enough to serve as Santa's Air Boss for the event, successfully guiding the old guy in for about as good a landing as he has recently made!
Here are some photos!
An elevated photo of Santa's Elves. On the far left is Jake Hayes, on the far right is Jim Crane standing next to Julie and Brenda. Awesome Elves! Also of note is the young man standing behind me (6th from the left)...Max Brinkworth. Max was the 3 year old adopted grandson of my dear friend, Ron Barrows, for whom the first Santa Flyin was intended...he is now 15 years old!
