    1957 Cessna 180 A bottom door hinge

I need a NOS or a very good used bottom door hinge for my 1957 Cessna 180. It’s the early flat steel version. Thanks for any help locating one.

Take it to your local welding shop and tell them you need a new one for your boat. They will be identical except new

Cessna part no. 0411579-5 Hinge Assembly-Lower. Both left and right are the same.

    Thanks

    Looking at the IPC now....

    page 107, LH door:
    hinge assembly 0411579-5 consists of
0711037-3 hinge lower LH rear &
    0711037-10 hinge lower LH forward

    page 113, RH door:
    hinge assembly 0411579-5 consists of
0711037-4 hinge lower RH rear &
    0711037-8 hinge lower RH forward.

So a little inconsistency on the p/n's making up the "identical" 0411579-5 LH & RH hinge assemblies.

Any idea why ? My serial number is 32801 and parts book calls for same assembly part number for both sides. I am rebuilding this plane and have all the hinges off . Both left and right bottom hinge assemblies are exactly the same.

Same assembly number RH & LH, but different sub-part numbers.
But the different p/n LH & RH parts just might be identical--
who knows what evil lurks in the heart of Cessna?
