Original Super Cruiser struts on Edo 2000.

Most folks today may have never seen Edo's original set up for the PA-12. Originally the struts were also the Seaplane fittings! The front and rear tubes ran right across
the fuselarge. There were NO spreader bars. You may have heard these refered to as 2000's with the "saddle struts" Here is ser# 11&12 on our Cruiser. Still going strong after 74 years! An interesting note is the later style
they switched over to in early 1950's actually feature 1.5 degrees less AOI; than the early style. You will notice the 2x6 planks rigged up to lift it with float trailer. They stay on shore. LoL.

Have heard of "Horseshoe" as well. Makes sense as both front and rear tubes are basically 'horseshoe' shapes that are going completely under the fuselarge. Very simple design, but becoming a rare item in today's world of aviation.
