    Alaska to Florida right now

    Hello all, Iíve been away for awhile and currently transitioning the lower 48, today leaving Valentine NB, headed SE , final at Umatilla where my new hangar awaits my arrival at Crescent Lake, my new to me winter home. Just a shout out to all and so my Alaska buddies see where Iím going. See ya!

    Good to see you're heading south with the geese. Floatpond here is still 80% ice free.

    You’ll enjoy Crescent Lake and it’s sister Dead Lake. Disston, Woodruff and Diaz are accessible as well. Silver Glen Springs on the west side of Lake George is a wonderful place to float among the manatees. Many other great places to fly floats in the area. The boat ramp at the Palatka waterfront is suitable for an Amphib and a great place to park and walk to restaurants.

    1/2" snow and still a couple of wet spots on the pond in Fairbanks. Nice trip report. Don't feed the gators and snakes while bass fishing
