Skylight overhead and window material

Any suggestions on what type of material to use for overhead skylight I’m thinking I want tinted and side windows for experimental PA18 Widebody. What thickness and Perpex, Lexan, Plexiglas , Poly ??

Tinted Lexan. If I remember correctly I used .060 For my D windows .060 or .080 for my skylight. It is thin so if you are going to cover much space make sure you have standoffs. DENNY

Lexan scratches easily. Acrylic has a more durable surface. It matters if you ever clean it with a rag or paper towels. I’m pretty sure all my window and skylight acrylic is .093.

Some materials don't like fuel spillage. They can crack and craze. Test before install.

There's also the egress argument. You can punch out Acrylic; Lexan is harder. (So I've been told).
