Tragic accident for a guy with well over 10,000 hours of balloon time. I took off shortly after they did and passed the balloon about 10 or fifteen minutes before this accident on my way back in. The world will be a little less colorful and weird without him…

Post Mills is a truly unique place to visit. I had the pleasure of listening to Mr Borland describe the workings of one of the many treasures that could be found on the premises. With this sad passing I hope that his memory can be kept alive in each of those pieces he leaves behind.

Brian was a friend to all of us. One of the coolest dudes ever. He had a passion for some of the strangest things ever and shared them with whom ever stopped in. I never missed a chance to stop by.
    Rest in peace my friend.

Very sad for the local world of aviation and once again we fear and hope there will be a way to keep that wonderful airport on the map.

It's in my back yard but it's one of the stops we always did at the WAD fly in. Brian gave this kind of tour to many of the SuperCub guys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0H6WA84UDs

A great loss. Brian was the real deal. We won't see his like again anytime soon. Godspeed, Brian.
