I had an old XCOM vhf that died (was dead when I bought the plane) and just replaced it with the MGL V6. I labeled the wires in the old harness so I wouldn’t mess up the wire install into the new pin connector.
V6 powers up and the RX bar shows full receiving and there is a steady fast beeping in the headsets. When I set a frequency and someone transmits on another radio it breaks the beeping and I receive just fine. When the transmission ends, right back to beeping.
When I try the PTT it stops the beeping and I hear what I assume is a gyro winding up.
It’s Saturday and MGLs not open and the local Avionics guys not around either.
anyone got any ideas
Thank you
