    Tie down options

I’m curious what folks think about these 3 tie down systems.

I use Fly Ties. Nothing is perfect.....too many variables in soil types, wind, direction and velocity, gusts, etc.

So, pick one of these, and use it. Anything is better than the screw in dog tie outs they rent at Oshkosh.

Having owned and used all three tie downs pictured, I think you presented them in the proper order. The fly ties are a great product and work well in most soil types. The Claw is a good product but will pull out of sand easier than the Fly Ties. The Angle Iron style is better than the dog screw anchors(which are totally useless) but rely on their placement being ahead of the tie down ropes and not vertically below them for their strength.

Oshkosh does allow or rent the screw in dog type tie downs
