I thought Legend Cubs had heel brakes. Hmm interesting
jim[/QU
Even Cub Crafters is offering toe brakes for we old Cessna pilots. You must be pleased though I'm not driving a spam-can anymore Jim...

Thank goodness it has all those fancy television screens to get in and out of KBGR.....

I am a staunch Legend guy. Looked at them for a couple of years but just not in my budget. That is a very nice looking plane.

Me thinks it'll be a bit on the heavier side. But still be an awesome and capable plane.

When you got that doctor money you might as well have two screens. One to watch movies on and the other to read the news...while your autopilot does the flying.

It's like a movie theater that flies through the sky!

He’ll appreciate them, and the 3-axis autopilot, when he flies it up to Alaska to show it off and convince me to build the MOAC

Almost there.

I'd like to hear more about that!

Ill let the good doc tell you about his bird dog. It was a big engine amphib fli lite kinda girl that was very nice. If you look close on the legend cub, i think there is a piece of the birdog on it somewhere

Hopefully we will see it at Bowman’s Ski Plane Fly in February 12th.

Larry.

My Camaro is where I got The inferno Orange color for the legend cub from.

Dr. Bob,

I noticed that Legend offers a dual oil cooler system for the 370 engine. Did you use dual coolers? Can you add a pic or description of how they position them?

Nice looking plane. Enjoy the final stretch.

Used a single oil cooler that is on the firewall on the pilot's left hand side about halfway down just an inch or two in from the cowling.

Did the same thing on a recent build and it works perfectly. I have a hard time getting the oil warm enough in the winter here in NC, summer time it is perfect. I used a 3" scat and a 11 row cooler. It will make #4 CHT run +20 hotter than the rest- at least in my case. CHT splits are still very close.
