2021 Unofficial, Underground New Holstein Supercub.org Flyin News

    F olks, I can’t wait...

120 days till we meet again! Yeeeeehaaaaaa!

Mosquitoes galore. Hot and humid. Rain guaranteed. Tents flapping in the thunderstorm gusts. Gotta love it.

Despite all of these enticing thoughts, I can’t wait to see New Holstein on the horizon, can’t wait to buzz the pavilion, can’t wait to see you folks, can’t wait to hear the siren sound indicating that the food truck is approaching, can’t wait to see my buddies flying in from the East, the North, the South and the West! The campfires! The people of New Holstein!

    120 days and counting, folks.

SJ gave me the thumbs up to get going on the Young Eagles Rally, so please make sure you are up to speed with your EAA youth protection certification, as it is gonna be a Big Deal!

SJ gave me the thumbs up to get going on the World Famous New Holstein Short Field Takeoff and Landing Exhibition and Flour Bom...errr...Dropping exhibition. We welcome the Flying Cowboys, the Flying Un-Cowboys (I can visualize a tee shirt for the UnCowboys) an pertinear anyone who wants to show off her/his STOL skills. Who knows, maybe Big Deal Jim Dickerson will be there once again to thrill the masses with his witty and distinctive announcing of the exhibition!

Well, it is gonna be good, folks, and I can’t wait to see you all there. We are all getting older, we will have qualified medical staff onsite to cover those emergencies, we might even have BasicMed exams onsite again this year! Ya never know.

Till we meet again, as Roy Rogers said, Till we meet again!

Can I submit my take off and landing data via email, as I will be working out west through the event.

I will be super accurate about my distances, and even use my 'fish' measuring distances.

Of course, George. Please write your distances on the back of 2 $100 bills, one for takeoff distance and one for landing distance, and send them to me. No problem.

The way these stol comps are starting to pay, $200 might not be a bad investment

But Randy, you are short changing George. Each you usually allow 3 take off and landings. So he can send you 6 $100 bills so as not to be shortchanged.

Golly, we have all seen Farmboy's edits and assignations to my 'currency' landings, and how much room I actually use... and since I am doing distance delivery for my landings I request that I am allowed an extra circuit to get my distances as short as possible... so eight bills would be appropriate.

    Do you take money orders?

    All I need sir!

I can burn enough runway in one circuit to divide by 3 and have some left over
