Article about are family cub

Great article. I’ll bet the pictures, especially the ones of the family, bring back a lot of good memories.

Excellent. I admire families that continue an aviation tradition.

NC35111 isn't "the family cub," or the original NC35111 either, but with so many pilots in the family "the family cub" is overbooked and I had to buy my own. (And that's not really a problem. :) )

(From my homemade POH): C/n 11780 is not the “original” NC35111 (c/n 6119 lost 12.7.41) but is painted as such. On that date two unarmed civilian J-3C-65s owned by K-T Flying Service of Honolulu Hawai’i were shot down by the IJN. Three members of the California National Guard taking lessons were killed in the attack, Corporal Clyde C Brown on NC-26950 c/n 4270: and Sergeant Henry C Blackwell [pilot], and Sergeant Warren D Rasmussen on board NC35111 c/n 6119.
