With logs, airworthiness and such, couldn't you petition the local FAA office for a new one? Seems all the documentation is there.
 
This fuselage is not worth $7,500.

aktango58, while i agree a case could be made w/ all the right documentation - the lack of data plate is simply a no-fly zone for me.

skywagon8a, i was kind of thinking the same thing.. after two attempts to email and make contact w/ the seller i've decided to move on.

i was just curious if anyone else had established comms w/ the poster.
