Airglas L3000 Approvals

I know they are on lots of Cubs, but anyone here have a field approval for Airglas 3000s on a PA-18? Are folks also using the FAA AC on ski installation as data for the install?

10 years ago that was a simple approval at ANC FSDO. Have you asked?

No, I don’t have a set to specifically ask about. I’m interested in getting larger skis than my current 2000s in the future, and noticed the 3000s weren’t STC’d.

An IA willbe signing off a 337 for using an Airglas stc for documentation and approval basis.

he could just as easily use ac43.13-2B ski installation chapter instead.

Edited to include: this is not a field approval.
