Thanks, Wayne. The pdf was fuzzy on the forum, as you know. I couldn't find it in your gallery until I realized it was labeled "Mulitmedia". It downloaded very well.
Really useful to have--I was trying to make PA14 ailerons and was coming up blank.

Dang, I thought some of the J5s had the pointed ailerons. Thanks, I appreciate the info. Either way, the pointy PA12 aileron was what I needed.

they are very close to the same... just the hangers are different

The aluminum spar J-5C wing is the same as a PA-12 wing. The J-5A aileron is curved. The cove on the wood spar wing is curved.
I'll get some pictures tomorrow.

The couple -12’s with one side J5 were aluminum spar ones. Still some slight differences but not uncommon to find -12’s with a J5? Wing. That no one ever noticed
