AN bolt supplier

Usually I get my hard to find hardware through Genuine Aircraft Hardware... Prop bolts I get through the prop shops..

Off subject but my dad found this bolt going through old boxes in the shop...

It’s all raised lettering... never seen one before...

Yes he is.. but they do show stock of -53A's and no reason he can't drill the head himself. That said, better have the grip length perfect when using a regular thread length AN bolt vs a prop bolt with almost double the thread length.

Rebuilt some late 30s J3 wings many years ago and all the bolts in the wings had the Piper logo. Someone will find them in the auction at my hangar one day when I am gone.
 
All of the prop bolts I have seen had MORE threads than a standard AN bolt...that way they dont damage the flange nut and get full engagement. Tim
