but there's no reference to what "Peak" EGT is.
The closest I've got to a definitive EGT "RedLine" is in this article by Paul McBride
https://generalaviationnews.com/2007...-whats-normal/ when he notes the max EGT temp is as for a turbo aviation engine at 1650 (F) / 889.9 (C) and this is what I've set as my EGT redline. I'm wondering where you found the 1300 (F) number that you mentioned to keep below in your climb out?
