how much paint & primer needed for floats

Hey guys just looking for best estimate before I order, I have done the stripping and prep on a few sets of floats before but never the painting. How much paint & primer do you all think I should need to repaint a set of EDO 2000's?

2 quarts of each. Probably too much but one won't be enough.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the boonies so Aircraft spruce shipping is slow with dangerous goods...want to avoid ordering twice. Anyhow the stipping begins this weekend

What paint have you chosen? Some products can allow underlying corrosion to form later. Lacquer worked better for me than an enamel.

The primer is an epoxy made by PTI. Then the paint is the Randolph float lacquer

I've wondered if a coating like this (link) is worth applying to the hull bottom? Searching for something like "boat speed paint" brings up several options. Anybody try it?
