Completing my Tango Cub restoration and have these parts that I can't find where they go. This was an unmolested airframe, completely original. Tango cubs have a few differences and not always in the books. Already tried Clyde S., Steve P., Randy L. anyone have any ideas?

Also looking for layout of 1959 Chevrons. The Piper drawing shows the placement of a stencil, not the actual layout of the chevrons.

What size are the bolt holes? What is the spacing across the ends? What is the diameter of the bend? Since there are two, it is likely there is one on each side of something. With those dimensions in mind look around the airplane for a place where they will fit. But then you have already done this haven't you? Hold the back seat to a cross tube?
They would not fit around the wing fittings for tie down rings. Cable guides would not have spread legs like these do.

Pretty much tried everything. Nothing seems to fit. Beginning to wonder if some parts were mixed at the powder coating. I’ve rebuilt several J3 Cubs, but this is my first Super Cub and being a “Tango Cub” there are differences that don’t show in any drawings or manuals, that I’ve seen. The airframe is complete and ready for cover, so I can see everything. Just doesn’t fit.
They have An3 bolt hole 1 1/2” inside and 2” height. Very ridged.
