Piling on here, once again Steve Pierce's presentations are the best I've seen on aircraft maintenance. Huge thanks again, Steve.

And even though none of us will probably ever achieve his level of expertise, there's a huge amount of this information that can be applied to pre-flight and post-flight inspections by pilots who aren't mechanics. Steve has certainly guided me to even more things to look at on pre-flights.
